AffordEMI is built so that the sensitive part of what you do here — your salary — never leaves your device. This page explains exactly what that means, and what does happen.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for or store your name, email address, salary, existing obligations, or any result you generate. There is no account, no login, and no database of users. Every calculation runs in JavaScript in your browser; nothing you type is transmitted to us.
What happens when you share a result
The share and copy-link buttons encode your inputs — country, salary, term, deposit and filters — into the web address itself. That link only exists where you send it. We never see it. If you would rather not share those figures, use the printed report instead, or edit the numbers out of the link before sending it.
Server logs
This site is hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify records standard request information such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, for security and to keep the service running. We do not combine that with anything else, and we do not use it to identify you. Netlify's own privacy terms apply to that data.
Cookies and advertising
Read this before you switch ads on. As published, this site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. If you enable Google AdSense or any analytics tool, that stops being true and this section must be rewritten to describe it — including the third-party cookies and device identifiers those services use, and a Google-certified consent management platform for visitors in the UK and the EEA.
At present: no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no tracking pixels, no cross-site profiling.
Outbound links
Links to manufacturers, marketplaces and banks leave this site. Some carry a partner tag so we may earn a commission — see the disclosure. Once you follow one, that company's own privacy policy governs what happens next. We have no control over and take no responsibility for their practices.
Children
This is a financial planning tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete. If you believe otherwise, or you have a question about any of the above, write to basithusain2004@gmail.com.
